Clippers to Waive Moses Brown
Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

The Clippers intend to waive two-way center Moses Brown, per Law Murray of The Athletic.

Brown, 23,is 7-foot-2 and has appeared in 34 games, averaging 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 8.5 minutes a night. The Clippers signed him to a two-way deal in October, after initially signing him to an Exhibit 10 contract at the start of free agency.

The move opens a two-way slot for the Clippers, in addition to their available standard contract spot, Murray noted.

Brown was activated for the 50th time in Wednesday’s road win over the Suns. Two-way players can be active no more than 50 times before their contract must become a standard deal. So by waiving Brown, the Clippers are able to avoid such a decision.

Brown has also spent time with the Cavaliers, Mavericks, Thunder and Trail Blazers since entering the NBA in 2019.
